What do you use to shave your face?? No matter what razors or shaving cream I use I just can't seem to thwart razor burn... Most times it hurts to shave! I go against the hair because if I don't I still have stubble...

I use my Norelco Electric razor. Blades are too harsh on my face.

Fusion 5. I get some razor burn on my neck it's kinda annoying, but I'll deal with it. I use to use the gillet quatro the 4 blade one I liked that one a lot

THis is a sensitive subject for me but I have found a solution that works for me. Give it a try.

Blade: I use a Quatro Blade
Cream: I use Trader Joe's Mango Cream
Prep: 15 minutes before I shave I wash my face with a mild abrasive wash to get rid of the dead skin cells. I then put on a clay mask (Queen Helene) and cheap, for 10 minutes. I wash that off and immediately shave.

I used to have terrible razor burn on the neck and this solution has proven to work for me for the past few years even when having to shave everyday.

However, ancient Indians had it right way back when...in the Kama Sutra, they only shaved once in 4 days.

On other thing to consider....there is something called 'king of shave' menthol oil. Wash your face, put this down, and then put down your shaving cream. That helps even more. You could also put down olive oil or grapeseed oil under your cream.

If you have sensitive skin, the most important thing is the prep and the quality of your product. Steer clear from the commercialized products and get some good stuff. For those without sensitive skin...you are lucky.

I use a good lather of soap and a Schick quattro .. no razor burn.
Also alot of people I know use a womens blade on the schick and it
is 5x's better to shave and not so harsh on your skin.I actually tried it and this my friends is no lie it really works !

Going against the grain is your problem. Try to shave in the direction the hair is growing as much as possible. Also I just use those cheap single edge disposible schick razors. Those double and tripple blade razors are just a gimic they don't shave as good as the cheapo single blade one's. Your usually gonna have a little stubble, get use to it. Also when your shaving, you can use one hand to kind of pull down on your skin to make it tighter while your shaving with the other hand. That will help you to get a closer shave. You might also be pressing to hard on the shaver, that will cause you to scrape your skin.

nivea shave gel in the white bottle. try this as my skin is super sensitive too. i use the vibrating fusion 5. then put on some lotion.
