Re: skid steer

On the east coast 2-4k is a PILE.

IF..... the track is already built a good 4x tractor with loader will do fine for maint. I use a 17 hp kubota(it was free). However building with a tractor and scrape is difficult, it works just kinda slow and you can not pick up and carry dirt.Im fixing to upgrade to a 30hp with loader.

Its a mini track im guessing ?

Re: skid steer

yes heck it may be a misprint, that is a nice one if the price is correct.(spent a few years as a tractor tech) the 790 and 990 are my favorite small JD tractors, all the new 20 series are computer controlled and crap. The 790 and 990 are all still very mechanical and fairly easy yo work on.Again I think its a misprint around Western NC that price would be 14,250 not 4,250 as listed....

For a small track look for a 790(might be a little much but good to be to much than not enough) or a Massey ferguson GC2300.All our dealership sold was deere and massey so thats about the limit of my knowledge unless were talking over 40hp.
