Re: Help!!!

it most likely should. you prolly gotta take off the gas tank. on my kx250f the spark plug is right under the gas tank, drops straight down into the engine

Re: Help!!!

This has got to be the best one yet..

To answer you're question.. Yes, it does have a spark plug. Located on the top of the head, right underneath the tank. It has a black cap covering the plug, a bit hard to remove the cap, so be careful.

Look at the diagram below:

# 15 is the spark plug

Re: Help!!!

You need a long socket or a plug removal tool to get it out.

Re: Help!!!

2003's were diesel, so no spark plug needed.

Re: Help!!!

I think, in 2003, Yamaha had a contractual dispute with NGK, and, as a result, used R/C glow plugs instead of conventional spark plugs. That same year, Tower Hobbies reported gross sales of over 3.2 billion dollars in glow plugs, a surge that hasn't repeated itself since.
