| any jetskiers? Im in the market for a project ski to mess with. mainly a js550 or 440. Anyone know anything about them or just ski drivelines in general? i know 2 strokes just not a whole lot about the pumps and what not that make it go |

| Re: any jetskiers? i wouldnt even mess with anything less than a 650. drivelines and pumps are simple. if the ski wasnt stored properly enginewise you could get into a real money pit. if the engine needs any work at all, i would highly recommend doing a complete teardown and inspection of the crank/rod bearings, mainly checking for rust. a rusty lower rod bearing(common on improperly stored machines) will eat your " it just needs a topend and you'll be on the water" engine for lunch. if you have any specific questions just ask, been riding and wrenching skis for years. | Re: any jetskiers? Go get a Kawi xi sport 750. It's a small jet ski. My other brother has a Sea doo with a 951, and the 951 is only a mile or two faster. |

| Re: any jetskiers? i wanna do something cheap. under $500 mainly for the initial buy of the ski. then a few tings hear and there to make it faster or reliable. so thats whay im leaning towards the 550. seems the best bang for my buck and theres a bunch for sale on craigslist here |
