will a yx head or a gxp head work with a klx110 with a stock piston or an akunar high compression piston?

Re: yx head

I think it works as long as the piston you use has clearance for the valves... Somebody knows for sure I know just wait a minute

Re: yx head

That, and the chamber relief may be a bunch bigger than the bore. Likely have to skim the head to shrink the chamfer to your bore size.

Pretty sure the chamber is bigger in volume too, so you'd wanna use that Akunar to get any compression.

Re: yx head

early 150 top ends bolt on directly, 160s are hit and miss as the bottom on the cylinders are larger than others.we have bolted some on with good results. must be sure of valve timing and lash.
