Will the YX cam fit and work with the stock head?

You have to grind slightly to get the big lobes in. YX heads are WAY better and cheap though, unless you have to run a stocker.

we have plenty of cams and heads from yx150 /160
just another thing i want to get up in the online store ,,,,

o yea it wont fit with out modding like terry said

I kinda dont want to do that but is it worth it or is there a cam that will fit right in that is as good as the yx cam. I seen people say the takegawa hyper cam is good but its really expensive compared to what i can get a yx cam for. your opinion on which option would be great or if you have a different cam suggestion.

You can get a yx 150 head,cam,piston,cylinder on here for $ 125-150 add a base gasket and go ride your bike.

keep a look out, with people upgrading to the V2 heads there has been some great deals on heads and cams.

im not lookin for all that power im just lookin for a little more power to be evenly competitive with my buddies because i weigh a good 40lbs more than they do and they pull on me in the straights. plus its more fun when we can battle with eachother rather than blowing someone away.

you are 100% correct. Battleing is so much fun. The cam will make up for your 40lbs difference.
