Exclamation revs out in 2nd cant maintain power in 3rd

any suggestions on what to do to get rid of this problem? I was thinking the jets in the carb might have been the prob but idk for sure...

My guess is your bike is in correct form but needs a gearing change for your conditions. I know my stock 110 would never pull third gear on a track with stock gearing.

Yea if its revving out its not jetting, just your gearing.

I went down in the front and it helped a little bit.

Re: revs out in 2nd cant maintain power in 3rd

I have the same gearing with a stock motor less a cam, pipe and clutch. I have that problem sometimes, It just depends on the track conditions. It seems like it needs space to build up the revs in third. I get into situations where third is too tall, and second is over revving. Anything up hill seems to need second gear, or if there are deep ruts.

I just attribute it to riding a stock 110. ---L*64
