Quick question: Supermoto tires? Who knows the best brand of supermoto tire to use for a 110? I know nothing about them. Last year i used a scooter tire and it hooked up pretty well but i want a real one this year. If anyone can help me out i would appreciate it.

Re: Quick question: Supermoto tires? Most lace up a 12" rim to the front hub and run Dunlop TT92's, size 100/90-12, on front and rear.

Re: Quick question: Supermoto tires? SL26 is absolute junk compared to a Dunlop TT92. there wont be a single SL26 on ANY grid at the nat'l championships this weekend.... and there'll be a ton of TT92's, sava's, vee rubber's, and bridgestone's.

Re: Quick question: Supermoto tires? If you want to really hook up in the dirt, pick any good gp tire of your choice. I bought a tire groover and made so good patterns down the middle. I'm telling you this is the best way to go, no matter what people tell you.

| Re: Quick question: Supermoto tires? If you want to keep the 14" front, either toss on a Pirelli or a Michelin Pilot Sport SC. The Pirellis work, you just have to read the feedback properly, they push quite a bit, and the sidewalls have a lot of flex, but you can generally push them pretty far before they actually give. Note, they wear REALLY fast when pushed.

Re: Quick question: Supermoto tires? I use some Maxxis scooter racing tires which I swear by on my Metrakit roadracers. They slide more predictably than TT91's. Another good one is a Michelin Bopper. Calamari Racing uses them on their race bikes now. If you want to get the Maxxis tires I told you about-- Call Soho Vespa. They can get them for you. Call Calamari for the Michelins. ---L*64

Re: Quick question: Supermoto tires? I ran the Michelins last year at MoM, they worked great. Not cheap, but worked. Of course I have never been on the street on a mini before, so maybe they sucked, but I don't think so.

Re: Quick question: Supermoto tires? I'm looking to make my KLX110 street legal, and Michelin has a few different sizes of 14" tires. Which size would be best for my mostly stock 110? Thanks...
