Quick question...should be an easy one too.

Hey guys,

I got my motor torn apart last night and we are putting the new top end in tonight. I was hoping someone could give me the torque specs fior the cylinder head and stuff...I misplaced my service manuel.

thanks!

9.42 for those 4...then the 2 next to them on the inside on the cam cover side...those two long ones are 4.33

Wuddup man?

Well, I got the suspension on, and I got some other stuff done, and so I went to work on the motor... 143 with race head and 26mm carb. All that jazz. Well, I was running the tbparts filter, which I now realize is junk, and sucked sand into the cylinder. Boom. The cylinder itself was hurt bad. But the piston and rings were done. I got lucky. It didn't quit on its own, I had killed it and when I went to ride it again it had no compression and was spitting oil out the overflow. So I ordered all the parts but I never got around to putting it back together. Now I'm getting around to it and I bought the BBR u flow with 2 extra filters just so that doesn't happen again. Hindsight 20-20 I wish I would have got the u flow in the first place and then used the extra $$ that I had to spend on the rebuild towards a clutch or the Sano LS8 swinger... oh well. You live and you learn. How bout you? Still got 5 bikes? Lol
