Oil out of breather hose?

Well heres the deal. Was riding at my buddys huose and he has been having oil shoot out of his case breather at random times. It happened one day a ton and then the next no oil shot out. Then the next day it started shooting again.Pretty sure that there isnt too much oil in it as its been running that way for a while. The motor is a 143SE and in good shape. After messing with it for a bit just jokingly I told him to throw it in the trash.

So now here comes the next one.I just got done washing my stocker 110 and decided to take it for a little ride.So I start it up and it actually just starts shooting a stream of oil out of the case breather.Shot out about 3oz of oil.The motor hasnt done it again but im sure it didnt help I was messing with my buddy about his motor shooting oil.bad karma haha.

So with 2 good running motors both shooting oil out whats the deal? The 143 is more like a real heavy mist and my stocker was pouring it out.Any suggestions/ideas?

Re: Oil out of breather hose?

Are you sure you didn't put too much oil in it? It only takes a quart.... ---L*64

Well neither of us have changed the oil in at least a month and it just started to happen so im sure if their was too much oil in it, it would have started immediately.

My 110 (143v2) does it quite a bit too. Not like a stream though, I guess just a light spray. I remember my 50 (124se) did it as well. I think its just the high rpms.
