| Re: kx60 rear hub Well, for one... They don't have the cush drive, or the torque rod-- so it's way lighter. The problem is that the diameter of the hub is a great deal smaller than the KLX hub... less friction area for the pads to take advantage of. I went this route before, and it sucks like hell. The pads will wear out after three rides, once they start to get applied too hard, or overheat-- then they actually like to crack. Believe me... it sucks! I'd be inclined to use that Big Minis adaptor with the stock hub. ---L*64 |

| Re: kx60 rear hub The front KLX hub actually is the same as a KX 60 hub, but the fork legs are different. To use the 60 hub on a 110, you'd have to have a tab welded to the stock swinger, and I think you'd have to run all the KX60 spacers, as opposed to the 110 spacers. That's one thing that I've never seen done-- a stocker with a 60 hub. Nobody has ever had a problem with the pads wearing out in a few rides with a KX60 hub? Or breaking? Man... I sure did! ---L*64 |
