first of all, i have a 04 klx110 with a tb143 kit and a vm26mm carb with redbarron intake. ok heres the deal. the other day when i was riding my 110 at some jumps, it was bogging and i discovered that the intake boot between the carb and intake had a rip in the top. the rip is about from bolt to bolt so i took it home. later that day i was riding down the street, and didnt have my gas on like a noob, and the bike died. i turned the gas back on and twisted the throttle a couple times to get some gas back in the bowl, but i ended up spending 15 minutes kicking it untill i finally decide to push it home. long story short, it has been afew days, and i still cant seem to get the bike to start. i know i need to replace the intake boot, but could that actually make it so the bike doesnt start? there is gas dripping out or the carb vent so gas is getting to the carb atleast. if its not the intake, where els should i start checking for the problem?

yes that will mess up your fuel/air mixture

so i finallt got my intake boot in and put on, but the bike wouldnt start still. come to findout im not getting spark now. so i put a brand new plug in and still nothing. any suggestions at where to look?my first thought after the plug was the coil, but i have no way to test it really, so could it be anything els becides the coil?

check your kill switch. check all the wire plugs unplug an plug back in check the ground also.
