Is the economy killing the parts market?

I've seen lots of good deals on parts lately. Seems like the price people will pay for good used parts has dropped like a rock. Look through the classifieds or ebay and there are quite a few bargains out there but people aren't buying. Just this week I pieced together a complete KX65 front end, forks, wheel with tire and disk, caliper, brake line and master cylinder for just over $200 shipped! Now I have to get a rear set up for my stocker or it's just going to sit in the corner, but I just couldn't pass it up. Maybe I'll have to pick up that Big Minis set up that's been sitting in the classifieds for a week...

This has been going on for a very long time. 2 years ago a complete 65 front end would cost around $800.

I think it also has alot to do with other makers coming out with parts that are more reasonable price in which other makers or people out there have to drop there price to sell it. Just my two cents. I work at a bike shop and all I hear most of the day is "I can get the same quality or the same part on ebay or craigs list a whole lot cheaper". Anyways not trying to start anything just my opinion.

Yes Sir. I think the older Z50 stuff will still live on. Just my opinion. Toby.
