Bore/head question?

Can i run the MotoHP 150 kit with the v2 head and a stroker crank? Or is the piston not right for the head?

And it says you do not need to bore the cases, so does that make it a scut or not because thats what i really want to avoid

Re: Bore/head question?

The kit does not need case boring and it's not the "scout" design piston.

Re: Bore/head question?

Will i be able to run that with the v2 and the 55mm crank? If so is this a good way to go, because i would like to just go full out v2 stroker (not scut) but im kind of a little nervous to bore the cases seeing that you could never go smaller again.

Re: Bore/head question?

the 150 alone doesnt need boring but im pretty sure you have to bore the cases when you do a stroker with it..and it will work with that head

Re: Bore/head question?

it depends how old the 150 kit is. mine would not clear the v2 or +R heads bt the new ones will. and if you bore your cases you can always go back smaller without any problems.

Re: Bore/head question?

I run this setup, no boring, you might have to run a race gas mix. Also i run a pe28mm, it rips.

Re: Bore/head question?

i dopnt know i just cracked my cases recently and i just threw a cat 5 on to stop it from going furthur. But i think i might just go with the complete v2 160 kit and get new prebored cases from pax for 100 bucks.
