| Re: any one got pics of Anodized stock hubs You can anodize cast aluminum, but it rarely comes out looking good. It normally comes out splotchy and off color due to a large number of impurities and low grade materials. |

| Re: any one got pics of Anodized stock hubs Best thing to do with the stock hub before Anodizing is to get them polished,,, that will make the Anodizing turn out a lot better. Or just keep them polished looks good,, that is what I did with my Stock mod with the red rims. |

| Re: any one got pics of Anodized stock hubs yea they are definitely cast, and yea polishing them might help, but why waste the time. If you got the money buy billets ones that are already anodized, and if you want to be cheap, or just want stock hubs, have them powder coated. Powder coating looks great, i wish i could post a link to my friends site, but its down, i think he forgot to pay his fee or something, but he does a type of powder coating that makes it look almost like anodizing, it is pretty nuts.. Ill try and find some pictures and put them up later. |
