| 143kit stock head, pipe & carb - what's next as I expected more. Just put in a 143 kit. I have the stock head (opened up the exhast port) and the stock pipe (opened up the header restriction and rear baffle but kept the end nipple tube on) I'm running the stock carb and a 95 main. It only has less than 10 minutes on it so the rings have not fully seated yet and it seems a bit rich (a little boggy and the plug confirms it) I had my CRF70 (88 bore and 110 stroker, & pipe) side by side taking turns and the CRF seems faster still. I want to look at the jetting and give it more time on the break in but I'm still expecting more as it sits when comapared to a bike with 33 less cc's ? What is the estimated power? How much more will an aftermarket pipe do over the stock modded pipe? I don't want to really invest in a carb and/or head but if so what order and power per dollar is the best? |
