Woo Hoo! 1993 CT70 with CA Plates!! Is MINE!

Check me out, I had a Lifan clone CT70. I sold it today and turned around and bought a 1993 CT70 with CA plates. Both on craigslist on the same day!

I don't know if these odometers can be rewound backwards but this one says 476 miles

There is a little battery overflow corrosion issue under the seat that needs to be dealt with and a missing seat rest grommet but other than that, it appears to be cherry spankin' hootenanny!

The best thing is that it is already in the CA DMV system which makes this thing priceless!!!

I gave him $1400 out the door. I don't know if that is too high but for a registered CT70, I think it is worth it.

I should keep it stock for it's collectibility. Since it is already registered, I can put different exhaust and stuff on it. Keeping all the stock parts, of course.

Look, it even has this cool California turbo charger thing

Sweet...Looks just like mine did when I first got it. I paid around $1500 for it a couple years ago with 570 miles. Mine was also the Cali model with the evap canister. Now start modding !!!

I think I'll try nitrus. If that has no performance gains then I'll go with nitrous.

What's your '93 look like now?

Another member of the 12V CT70 fraternity.

Best CT70 ever built from and electrical and mechanical perspective. Easy to modify.

Great bike and Great price. These bikes were $1500 brand new and yours is one of the nicest I've seen.

Myself, FastMC and Razzo have 'em, so if you have questions, ask away.

You know, it has been up there for weeks. He was selling it with a hitch rack. It kept getting reposted. I'm suprised it was me that got it. The seller seemed surprised when I called.

Here is one in Rocklin with 60 miles on it. Posted on 10/2

Congrats on the new bike! I just noticed you're from Vacaville. You should come down to the Peninsula and join us on a ride sometime.

Sounds good! Now that I am legal in CA, I can do stuff like that.

I can't wait to see the looks I get at the tool booth on the bay bridge when I roll up on my CT70....

Good score by the way. I paid a bit less for mine thanks to Dutch!

I paid $400 for my plated Dax, but it's a bit of a basketcase and the tranny was messed up.

So for a '93 with low miles, it sounds like I got a good deal.
