Stunt Z50R Build.

Well. I bought this fine looking 84' Z50R a while back. Decided that I wanted to build a stunt Z50R. Im going to try to finsih this build. We will see. I will fill in the details soon. Added a peep show of the new paintjob, going to add some pinstriping. Toby.

Painted the frame glaoss black. Wheels are going to be bright red. Slow going... Trying to decide where to put the coil since Im putting a 99' Z50R engine in it. Toby.

Diferent coil on the CDI unless the old one will work with the new. Havent looked into it. Hopefully someone will chime in on that. Toby.

I did the same thing putting 1992 12v cdi engine in a 1976 z. What I did was weld a tab onto the frame just like the stock honda cdi bikes.

different coil. Old one is 6v, the new one is 12v. I forgot the old coil is under the seat and the new one is under the tank. Best bet is a 12v passport coil, this can be mounted in the stock location and still reach (and work with) the new motor. I like what jaybob did too, but that would require a cdi coil tab and a welder.
