| Re: Soft tail or hard tail? Need advice I believe you are correct. Neither have titles and thats why I thinking the softail would be best if I swapped it for a Lifan frame. The chore tank has some dings so it would need to be repainted (sucks). |

| Re: Soft tail or hard tail? Need advice [quote=Z;953317]You can purchase hardtail tanks that fit on 1979-1986 frames along with retro seats and have a hardtail look with suspension. AAAAHHHHH! My eyes!!!!

| Re: Soft tail or hard tail? Need advice Also, the soft tail you are looking at getting has the wrong tank for that frame. The frame style was from 72-78 and your tank is from the 86 christmas bike. You should have a tank like mine. |

| Re: Soft tail or hard tail? Need advice Dude, Go with this: Minitrail 50 (Z50A) Honda mini bike/1972 This guy is in Congress north of Wickenburg, but it's mostly complete except for the throttle assy. If I had $650 I'd get it. The other guy's hardtail is worth $300 maybe. Check to see if the battery tray is there. |

| Re: Soft tail or hard tail? Need advice Yes a fine example. It must really well with the petcock lying on the flywheel cover. I stand corrected.

| Re: Soft tail or hard tail? Need advice I did it! I took the plunge! I ended up buying a z50 (1973) that I found on craigslist. I paid more than I wanted but I the more I think about it, the more I told myself "Get one thats close to complete so you dont have to go digging for parts and spending more money in the long run just to save a few bucks now". The best thing is the Z is complete and its running. The headlight doesnt work though. Previous owner got the bike running and decided to sell it to feed his pocket bike habit. He was a cool guy. I brought it home and took it for a ride around the block and I was smiling ear to ear Ill post some pics soon. Thanks for all the input. And if anyone is interested, the two Z's I posted pictures of are still available here in Phoenix. Check out craigslist. Let the mods begin!
