reynolds-brad's Chaly project thread

So I just had to be so original and get a GP pipe for the Chaly...

We asked for a hanger for a CT70 and shortly later they had it done. So far very happy with it, cant wait to hear it on a bigger motor.

Removable baffle cap.

Nice! Any chance of a video or sound clip when it changes levels?

Re: OVER Racing GP pipe for the Chaly

Dave, I think Eddie was talking about the new Over adjustable model where there is a baffle that is controlled on the bars.

I bet it does sound like yours. I have not yanked mine out yet but will next time I run it. I will try to get some before and after audio. I think the clip I posted of yours has it with and without baffle but I can't recall.

I am really digging the Chaly, I don't want to mess with my CT70 any more...
I hear the Chaly riders had a bad rep back in the day, troublemakers and loners....: )

Re: OVER Racing GP pipe for the Chaly

Just a coupple of little updates to the chaly project.

Got the spin off front end fitted,
shortened the CT side stand by an inch
Polished the front hub and fork caps.
fitted the FCR28 carb and clearanced the areas inside the frame so there shouldnt be any knocking around or rubbing.
fitted the Jazz honda front fork cover.
installed Dax front fender

Lots to come still, hope to get a new color on it pretty soon and get to building the big'n motor for it.

That jazz piece looks like it belongs that way from the factory and I really dig the way the back of those fenders flip up. Can't wait to see more!!!
