| Opinion on value - Worth $500? I located this bike in the back of a pickup while driving today. It is an 89 in the somewhat hard to find red color. Plastic in very good condition, supposedly runs well. Has clear Washington State title. Probably can get it for a few bucks less. The motor appears original and umolested. The exhaust seems to have an aftermarket tip but everything else seems original except the bar pad and one handgrip. The tank is undented and has no rust at all inside. Seat has one small tear, about the size of a pea. I have a spare seat in my inventory . . . Any thoughts on value? I need this like another hole in my head, but the red is calling my name . . .     |

| Re: Opinion on value - Worth $500? There might be better deals out there, but like you said the red ones are harder to find. You have to decide if it's worth it to you !!!  Cant hurt to try lowballing him either.

| Re: Opinion on value - Worth $500? the 88 z50 was first year of newer design.it had red tank with a blue seat with HONDA on the sides.fairly rare.89 is rare too. |

| Re: Opinion on value - Worth $500? The plastics on that bike don't look that great. I think the front fender is still available, but the tank, graphics and rear plastics are long gone. I'd pass on that bike at $500 unless you want a Red Z that will be average at best with no chance of getting new red rear plastics. |
