| Help with headlight on CT70K0 New guy here - hope you all can help with my head light. On my CT70K0 I have no power on any of the wires coming off the ignition switch (B, Br, Br/R) going into the headlight bucket. Now I do have power (6v) coming into the bucket off the Red lead. According to the schematic its coming from the battery thru the rectifier to the horn - which works. At this point, I guess I'm looking for someone that has been there - done that to say "yep, it's your ignition switch". Next question - how do you get to it? Thru the black rubber plug on the opposite side of the ign switch? Thanks for you help - juan2many |

| Re: Help with headlight on CT70K0 You should have power going into the ignition switch through the yellow wire. It's AC voltage and only when the engine is running. When you click the ign switch to the headlight position the AC voltage comes from the ignition switch through the brown/red wire, then up to the dimmer switch. It then goes to the headlight through the blue or white wire (high/low). Again...only when the engine is running...And yes pull the rubber grommet from the other side and you can probe the back of the switch... Hope this helps.
