crf70 motor in a 1991 ct70?

I plan on putting an 05 crf70 motor in my 91 ct70. How do i convert the stator to run the lights? Or will it allready?

Can i buy a stator for the 91 ct70 and bolt it on the 05 crf70 motor? If i do this, will the crf flywheel work with the ct stator?

I plan on putting a 4-speed in the crf motor because it has a broken 2nd gear. And it would be awesome to have a 4-speed in my ct.

You need a 6V rectifier. It's under $20. Ask an advertiser or google "Rectifier 12v or 6v"

Yes, the 91 ct70 is 12volt.

So i need the crf70 motor to be 12v. I would like it to just plug into my existing ct70 wiring. Thats why i would like to know if the 1991 ct70 stator will work on the crf70 motor.

I think you can just bolt up the electronics and off you go.

Take the CT70 stator assembly and use it on the CRF70. Sometimes the flywheels are matched to the stator assemblies, so you may want to run the CT70 flywheel with the stator.

The only real difference with the CRF and CT engines is the CT engine has a neutral lamp switch and the CRF doesn't have this provision. You'll have an extra wire on the CT stator assembly you won't be using. You'll see when you go to take it off the bike.

WHAT? That is the stupidiest thing i have ever heard! I dont even know anyone dumb enough to do that. That motor is pure queer bait! I dont want all the attention that will bring from the people that hang out at the rainbow pub and eat skittles. And i definately dont want any girly men hitting on me. Thats the kind of lifestyle your buying into with that motor.

F&*^ing horrible idea.

GOD!

Oh yeah, i do know somebody that bought that motor.
