Re: vet class @ 08 mini moto. I have been riding the over 30 class since 95 and am the old guy in that class , but in our 40+ I feel like the young kid as there are some guys well into their 40s and 50s in there. Racing the 30 guys is tough, but the 40+ I fit in nicely.

Re: vet class @ 08 mini moto. I'm working out the details of my trip. Sounds like it might be a big waste of money of they are letting pros like MC enter the class...

Re: vet class @ 08 mini moto. I just talked to Becky at minimoto she told me she only has 30 vet riders so far. She is expecting at least 30 more to sign up later. They already have 90 mm12a riders.

Re: vet class @ 08 mini moto. How does qualifying work? is it just a single timed practice with everyone on the track? Anyone know?

Re: vet class @ 08 mini moto. qualifiying done in heat races. In your second practice you are timed for gate pick fro your first heat race. Depending on how many heat races of 20 riders depends on the amount of riders that qualify for night event.

Re: vet class @ 08 mini moto. I hope only a couple more riders sign up, so that it will give us all a better chance at making the main ....I have been for the past three years and it sucks not to race in the main...alot of money spent with no return, but a empty wallet saying now what......

Re: vet class @ 08 mini moto. Just an FYI, last year at MMSX, in the 35+ class, only the top 3 got in via a qualifier, I know as I was 3rd and last to make the main from a qualifier. Then I think they took top 2 in the LCQ, can't remember. It's super hard to make it in in my opinion but a lot of fun!!! I agree with whoever said they need a 40+ class! I am closer to 50 than 40 so racing with 35+ guys is tough - just a fact of life... Good luck to anyone that goes - I wish I could but can't make it this year :0(
