Southwick Pit Bike National

Does anyone know if there will be a Pit Bike National this year at Southwick??? The national is August 23rd 24th this year. They have run it in past years, I just haven't seen anything about it this year yet.

Where do you ride around here? It seems like there's no tracks that you can ride at. I would love to get a mini run going, that'd be sick! Where are you from?, I'm in Auburn, MA.

Re: Southwick Pit Bike National

Yeah there seems to be nothing here in MA, Southwick's 45mins away from me. That would be fun a pit bike race but it would be like topping the bike out the hold time. Sooo mad Winchester canceled their series, I was on vacation when they had the first one.

Yes,

Saturday at or about 5:00pm after the last Mx time qualifier sign-ups will be on Vendors row...cant miss it.

also Last Year you had to be a AMA Member to race and it was $20.00 fee to race the Pit Bike race.

Kawirider359....where have you been theres more action with Pit Bikes in New England than anywhere in the USA

Masters of Mini Series Starts August 19th at Marshfield Mass

Re: Southwick Pit Bike National

Sounds like a big race, do you have to be pro or something for the Masters of Minis?

And is the Southwick one for anyone?

are sign ups for southwick at 5 or is that when racing will start. If anyone is going and has any info as to what time you have to be there to sign up. If the ama thing is true. If it is, can you join there or do you do it online? Any info would help. Thanks

Read what I posted above ^^^^^^ and for the past 3 years Rob Buydos has asked for a AMA Membership card...@ southwick

Last year Johnny B had to runaround and find some AMA Official to sign him up for a Membership...he mentioned it was a pain in the @$$ to find someone.

the track is open at 9:00am on Saturday...so theres plenty of time and Rob Buydos is not hard to find I've run into him a bunch on saturday throught the day

I will be at the Moto Nutrition Booth for 99% of the day Saturday on Vendors row

Do you know how long it takes to get your AMA stuff in the mail? I joined online the week before Unadilla and still have nothing.

Re: Southwick Pit Bike National

I wish I was 16, are they gonna groom the track before? Because don't the pros have practice that morning? That track rough is hell on a big bike, I don't wanna know how it is when its rough on a mini.
