| New rear wheels anyone? I don't know if this would be the correct place to put this but... Is there any people who would be interested in new, HD rear wheel? I'm trying to get some prices gathered up to see if I could build them for somewhat cheap. I can tell no one wants to pay $500 for a rear wheel with drum brakes... Possibly BBR rim, possibly Buchanan spokes, billet hub (name brand, not letting the actual name out yet) Laced + Tru'd Maybe I can't even list this on PM's? Let me know mods. ![]() email: five21racing@hotmail.com Edit: I'm not doing this to lose money. ![]() ![]() Last edited by five21racing; 08-02-2008 at 07:45 PM. |

| Re: New rear wheels anyone? XXXXX red billet hub, BBR black 10'' rim, Buchanan 10'' spoke kit, laced/tru'd - +/- $275 retail - $310 + cost to lacing/truing The cost of the BBR black rim is nuts. Red, blue, and gold are cheaper. That's pretty much as high-end as you can get with running drum brakes. Last edited by five21racing; 07-24-2008 at 08:11 PM. |

| Re: New rear wheels anyone? I added a couple pictures of a set of wheels I just got done building for RU_MATRX. My rear hubs are supposed to be here on Tuesday. I'm waiting to get some tires/tube/ect/ect.. in a week or so. I'm guessing it will be a week - 2 for the spoke kits. Haven't got the BBR rims yet either. I'm working on those though. Edit: Those wheels in the first post are NOT FOR SALE. The rims are red, not orange like they appear. :S Odd lighting I guess. |

I could do silver billet front / rear hubs or just drill out the stock OEM Honda 50 hubs. Let me know which hubs and I'll PM you a price. One more thing, would you want them with tire, tube, rim lock, ect, ect? (100% complete, minus brakes panals) Thanks, Reggie

I would have to figure out which tire you would want and add that costs too. You don't need to run a front rim lock but, you pretty much have to run one in the rear (or you can use screws, yikes!). The rim lock does exactly what the name says - it prevents the tire from slipping on it's hold, on the rim. This, in return, causes your valve stem to tear off from the tube.
