2005 CRF50 motor NOT RUNNING I have this motor thats been sitting in my garage. It DOES NOT run and I am not sure what is worng with it. AGAIN, IT DOESN'T RUN and I don't know what is wrong with it. It ran before I took the bike apart 6 months ago and when I put it back together, it failed to work and it didn't sound right when I tried to kick it over. I figured I would offer it up before I put it away for a while until I can break it down and do it myself. It only comes with what is pictured, stand not included I will not ship outside the U.S. I want $OLD!!!! Don't email me but here's the address for PM rules suckz2bu@cox.net Last edited by 50 Donkey; 10-06-2008 at 07:46 PM.

Re: 2005 CRF50 motor NOT RUNNING If I can't get it running, will you buy it back? I need a motor, but not another one that doesn't work. Have everything? Carb, coil, etc? nevermind...re-read the post. only motor... well, I don't need another paperweight. let me know possible issues... 6 mos of sitting shouldn't deem a motor "broke". I'm in SoCal please email or call cludt at ec.rr.com 2523499889 Last edited by gr6eg; 10-06-2008 at 02:54 PM.

Re: 2005 CRF50 motor NOT RUNNING I probably should say, that's an L.A. Sleeve 88 kit on it with stock head. I don't do refunds. The reason it's so cheap is cause I'm telling you flat out there's a problem with it. It may be minor. I honestly don't know. Anyone who has bought from me will tell you I am honest and don't rip people off. I'm not hiding anything. The motor doesn't work. But it may be something simple, it may not. This motor is probably not for anyone looking for a bolt on and go motor

Re: 2005 CRF50 motor NOT RUNNING what displacement is it? 88 maybe? In all my years of researching pitbike stuff i have never seen that cylinder. you say it didn't sound right kicking it over.... like kickstarter going clack clack, or top end? Did it smoke before you pulled it? what year is the motor? Looks like an 04 and up.

Re: 2005 CRF50 motor NOT RUNNING LOL yeah it's in the title, it's an 05' and I posted probably while you were. It's an L.A. Sleeve kit. Really good kit, been around for a while, they were just real spendy that's why you don't see too many of them
