Re: Mikuni 26mm Carb Problem

Alright I brough it over to Matt's and he spent 3 hours working on it. Honestly, I'm not to "tech savy" and Matt explained everything he was doing step by step and schooled me on carbs but... I cant really post up the fix here in technical terms so here it is Barney Style:
Inside the carb is this gold shaft. On the shaft there were 3 very tiny holes. 2 of the holes were okay and the third one was clogged. Matt unclogged it and then showed me this flapper thing. He bent that up a little bit more (I think this is what 50$pit was refferring to). Everything else looked okay, just a few adjustments to the jetting and slapped it all back together.
The outcome: A great running carb and no more fuel spills!!! Matt did a bang up job and charged next to nothing for the parts/labor.
