yeah no kidding! from what.... 5hp to about 14hp!! he has a full chest and back plate so i told him he doesnt sit on that bike without them on - and a helmet. lol
we made him do alot of the work on the swap. we did all the wiring but he did alot of the wrenching. kids are so quick to take stuff apart, but its another thing to take something apart and then put it back together again and make it WORK.
we still need more parts too, he need a rear innertube, tire, rear brake pedal (we are going to bend his for now just to have something) a skidplate, and new pegs. his oem pegs are no where near long enough to clear both sides of this 140.
in the future he wants to buy an exhaust for it (already picked a few out) and an extended swingarm. we ran outta money and only got the motor and that rear shock in the pics... everything else is gonna have to come later. |
