That is false, you can change frames inbetween races, and there have been many top factory riders that have had to do it at the nationals..... I know I am joining this a little late, but it really is getting out of control. I really don't see what the big deal is, a kid/guy from across the pond comes over and rides the class that he thought correct. Maybe there are only 30 pit bikes riders in the country and he is in the bottom 10, I would say that would give him a valid reason to ride AM, but I really don't know the whole scenario. And at least this thread has one thing going for it, AWESOME spelling by 215

mini moto in ALL is the ultimate sand bagging king.. Not only in vegas. the winners of the am classes should get a # of THIER choice with a RED background and race the pro class. its so stupid not everyone can afford the next big 190+R+D with a 35 mm carb off a 450. its a rich man sport who ever has the most and a decent rider wins. i could go on and on like everyone else these past two years have been so bad. so much for a tech inspect... ohh ok your pass. did you see the stock/mod class i bet they had faster laps then most 10 and 12 classes.

This thread is the most useless non-sense I have read in a long time. I in fact feel as though I have lost intelligence just by reading through it. First, to accuse the company of anything just because a RIDER choose to ride a bike is assenine! That is like saying when a privateer MX racer gets caught stuffing a 315cc kit into his YZ250f that Yamaha is a POS cheating company!!!!! The rider choose the class to race in, the promoters accepted his entry and that is it. Oh yeah, smart business decision on Pitsters part, lets get this "ringer" to race the AM classes so that I will have to shell out Contingency money. Come on, do you people really have that much against PP?? With thoughts like that I am sure that you see "Black Opps helicopters", and UFO's all the time too! I am certain on the part of Hahn, once he was qualified and thought about that Contingency money he really wanted to ride a Pitser to have a shot at some dough! What I find shocking here is that NO ONE mentioned that had it been the other way around (qualifies on the PP and then races the main on the Big Minis bike) people would have lost there minds! The fact is every AM rider that wins Vegas is super fast and would do well in the Expert class, just as every AM rider that enters his first Pro Class SX or MX lites race tends to do well (ie. Villopoto, Canard, Dungey, Stroup, J-Law. Hell Canard and Dungey both won there first ever Pro SX races).
Face the facts, you are a PP hater (for whatever reason!) and you got SMOKED!!
Life is not fair Jr. the sooner you learn that the better, there is always someone faster!!

Finally I take personal offense to the statement of how all Pister riders are cheats.
