| Re: Maxxis minimotosx vi - 2009 event announcement I think that they should put the start outside like they do at the US Open. Just put the start on the jumbo-tron so the people inside the arena can see the start. It creates so much more track. Yes, the track was unbelievably tight last year. Ride inside your house or apartment for mmsx practice! Drywall is not cheap, but ripping up and down the hallways of your condo or house with 3 or 4 of your buddies will simulate the mmsx the best. And yes I will be there next year. Just planning on different type of preperation for the race. Heading to the Orleans dec 11th-14th to prime the pumps! And to gamble enough to get free rooms in May! | Re: Maxxis minimotosx vi - 2009 event announcement The track isn't the problem....the bikes are (which is everyones fault)! The track is perfect for stockers and 88's which is what it was originally intended for. The pro classes should be the only ones that are "open" with limited rules (like they are now) to add a little excitment....but, they should have a pro "stock motor" 10 and 12 class to prove rider ability. The first MMSX was a blast...lets get back to those days! |

| Re: Maxxis minimotosx vi - 2009 event announcement I believe they said last year was the largest turnout so far, that would lead promoters to think things are doing pretty good in the industry. I also think they are not doing so bad, it is just evolving. |

| Re: Maxxis minimotosx vi - 2009 event announcement David Tamini will be there. I am hoping that Kyle Davis and Cody Gray also go. I would love to see some East coast youth racers do well. The 2up series has raised the bar for youth pit bike racing. |

| Re: Maxxis minimotosx vi - 2009 event announcement Well, here is my take on the situation... They should do a track layout similar to a Arenacross track, 4 lanes.. I will make for better racing, not a slamfest... The track last year was made for a pocketbike with susp... Outside start would be awesome, but highly unlikely... Oh, and wider lanes than the hallway in my house would be nice too... Ya, you could say I'm still a little upset that I didn't qualify this year even with top 5 qualifiying times!! |
