How is this called an industry meeting?
Where was Red Baron, Sano, Marzocchi, Big Minis, SSR, Staggs, Randy's, TB, Two Bros., Thumpstar, Motovert or anyone else that was at MiniMoto?
None of them were notified of this meeting!
Why was that?
Then they'll tell us that we aren't supporting the sport when they ask us for sponsorship for these new events.
Am I missing something here or do you guys want all the credit? Why was nobody else notified?

Maybe they are the part that wants to setup and pit on the new races ? And the others just want to sponsor / race them ?? i dunno but its still going to be sweet haveing more miniraces

I heard about the meeting 2 days before it was suppose to go down. I thought that everyone ( people you had listed and more ) but when I heard that there was only going to be Lyle, Brent and a few other people, I decided to bag it.
The meeting went ok for what it was, and hopefully the companies and promoters do the job right so we'll all have fun together.

Yeah I agree with you Dave, like I said, it was certainly not a "industry meeting" I did not do the inviting nor did I know who was coming or not. I was assuming all the big players would have been there also, Maybe the promoters of the meeting didn't notify everyone, or ? I don't really know.

I in no way am saying Sano nor anyone else is NOT supporting the sport, I know how much you and everyone else has done and continues to do.

Basically it was called a "Industry meeting" by the promoters of the meeting, so I was just referring to it the same way.

Point is the guys promoting the Mini Moto SX are trying to make some other events happen, so once they get the ideas, times, places etc.. figured out, they will send a sponsorship package to us all ( same like Vegas Mini Moto).

Anyway it should be good for all of us in the Industry weather we are vendors, dealers or riders.

Thanks for the reply Gary! I'm definatley bummed that we were not invited and didn't participate, but I am stoked that they see the potential and want to do more.
If they expanded after MiniMoto 2, this sport would be insane right now.
There are tons of places for races to be held and with the sucess of Endurocross, I think they want to broaden their horizons as well. Wish we could be involved though.

Gotta toss Craig of the Evil Empire out there, his family has taken on the pavement side of the equation for Northern New England and has a killer series going this year. I'm sure any industry support or even just acknoledgement he could get would be greatly appreciated.

I'm thinking the vegas track should be in a larger stadium.. More floor space for a bigger layout.. And a watering crew that knows how to water a track, there is no excuse for making a indoor track muddy!! Also multiple race series should be fun..

Its a much bigger stadium.

And i'm also sure it is twice the money to hold the race.

and don't forget about us at Baby Trap MX and ECM, we've got the Pit-X series kicking off this weekend and run pretty tight with MoM crew. The more people involved in the different areas the better for the events
