Re: kx65 with a yz250 motor

It's going to be nearly impossible, well, nothing is impossible, but this is close, here are two major problems:

Swingarm bolt. On big bikes the swingarm bolt is big and it does 80% of the holding on the motor, not the motor mounts. You won't be able to drill out the swingarm-bolt-holes enough to put the big bike swingarm bolt through it.

Exhaust. Even if you can cut out the frame (which is a good idea) and clear the motor of the front tire, you are going to have a huge problem clearing the pipe with the front tire, especially when the suspension is down.

Airbox is going to be a huge problem, and the carb-airbox distance wont be long enough. I'm all about projects, but I'm pretty sure when you see it lined up you are going too see it's not going to happen.

#1-You can make a sleeve to go over the 65 bolt. Yes youll need to take a cutting wheel and slim down the mount on the motor. Easy Fix.

#2-You can do it you just need to make a new frame and stretch it a few inches long and tall.

#3-This will be the hardest problem to solve. A few ways you can do it. Here's one, Since the intake will be farther forwards towards the front end, but the carb is much larger, you can find rubber boots just like stock ones to be able to connect it to the airbox. Yes thats the cheap way and would require alot of jetting. Im thinking of a better way so iy doesnt starve for air.

You must smoke crack, guaranteed this project will never happen. All of the hurtles are way bigger than crf150 makes them out to be, trust me I work on motorcycles for a living.
