Spanky, thanks again for letting me ride Colton's SSR. I had a blast. You guys did a great job and the track was killer. I talked to Lyle last night after the race and he couldn't have been happier about how it went and how you guys handled the race. Awesome job. I may just have to get Justin Malcolm to build me up an X4. I rode the one that Scotty raced last night and I was really really surprised.

Re: CHP Texas Mini National Official Results

I was there with Jason Langford and the LCS Mini's team this weekend and helped Jeremy out with lil' J's bikes. He actually did have the fastest lap time in practice, but that doesn't matter everyone was haulin'. Just like to say thanks to Spanky for having the race and keeping everything up to par.

For those of you who don't know LCS mini's team they brought back 5 of the 11 titles
Jason Langford-10" Am and 12" Am
Jeff Long- Fatboy and +30
Taylor Higgins- Women's Pro
And all of the other LCS riders ran top five at least and one of them got 3rd in the 12" Am class with no 2nd gear

It was pretty cool to be involved with the team they all ran good

Yes, we (VincoMX) broke an old Dec. 2007 prototype frame that was NOT "plug welded".

Both our June 2008 "Plug frames" were fine in 12E... We did blow up 1 YX 160 motor though. I saw a few people braking frames if we are going to have a finger pointing contest. At least our frames are guaranteed.

One of our riders, Rudy finished 7th in 12E.

I have 2 gigs of pics... just flew home 2 hours ago...

I never started pointing fingers, I simply stated that I saw Ainsworth break a frame during the pro moto.

just kind of strange you had these ridiculous high priced rollers that are supposed to be "oh so good!"

and then we witness one break...

Thanks for the vote of confidence Hackmunch- we did have a frame break- and as Bob Davies of Medina Mini's mentioned it was a preproduction frame- no big deal- the production frames are put together different and have additional support. Our other two riders in the 12" PRO Class were local Utah Riders Rudi Williams #193 and Beni Williams #192-

Rudi Finished 6th overall in the 12" PRO- and did absolutely amazing considering he was running our stock FA22 bike with a YX 160 motor- not much you can do when the top 5 are pulling 20 lengths on the 250 yard starting line straight- Beni Williams had motor issues on the first moto and blew the motor on the gates at the 2nd moto....so unfortunately he wasn't able to contend.

One of our customers PJ Kerr of Texas raced the over 200lb race on his FA22 with our Showa front end and got a 2nd in the first moto and a 3rd in the 2nd moto on a stock YX 160. (also under powered)

If anyone has any questions I am more than happy to address them. We are excited to offer something different in the industry- and are pleased with how the chassis handles and will be back at the next big event with some big built motors .

Ya we had a blast at the race. I got some pictures and video to load up later. Just dropped Blake off at the airport so I'll get the pics posted tonight! Willy was killing it last night and the track looked like a blast to ride.

Re: CHP Texas Mini National Official Results

I would be suprised if that is the only frame that broke, my feet still hurt from landing some of the jumps, mainly the finish line, fun race for sure, big jumps, track flowed really well, ran through the classes very fast, I would say all in all, great race

i am not trying to be an as$ but all you vinco guys hyped these badas$ frames up like they were gold and 150lb billy ainsworth breaks one. You guys should have waited till you proved something on the track then started your advertising hype. Unfortunly it might be too late. That sucks if it was bob's vinco, i wanted to see sam pound some laps on that thing. Oh well.

was that at the starting gates? If so I heard it go from a distance, sounded like a chain got thrown and was walding up in the front sprocket, but the wheel wasn't moving. Better on the gate rather than a jump face!

Re: CHP Texas Mini National Official Results

Had a blast and good to meet everyone. I met my goal of not getting lapped by kennys_cousin, although Smokeum28 lapped me the first moto . It was all for fun for me. It was nice to see a lot of battles, some weren't for first, but they were all fun to watch.

The over 30 class had Josh Demuth in a huge lead for first in the first moto, until something happened to his bike. Came back second moto to take it. He borrowed one of Tommy Hahn's pitbikes to come out and race.

Thanks CHP, Spanky and Crew for a great weekend with lots of riding and racing. Justin as I said thanks for keeping it around this year and hopefully now that everyone had a good time it will continue and grow.

Re: CHP Texas Mini National Official Results

oh quit your whining about Austin Pomta-whatever, I got beat by an 11 year old 85 rider in womens pro who whipped a funky 110 around like nobody's business...then again I was on a stock pitster haha It's hard to ride against someone 10 years younger than you, but it is pitbikes, luckily, that's what Vet class is for in big bikes

anyhow great job to spanky, and CHP on a race well done. Looking forward to the series.

THanks Amber and Justin for your hard work, the womens classes were a success! Marie? SMokums wife? Great Job gal in AM! WOW~
