Re: Any Reed, Suzuki or SX gossiper FAN...

I think at this point, its the bike that matters cuz during supercross, we all saw Reed busting his ass off and still had some bike issues that lost him some 1st places. Without that pesky bog, he should be doing pretty well now. Dont get me wrong, I'm still not a fan of Reed, but I am a BIG fan of the bike

At the factory level the bike is the LEAST important (well at least from Honda, Yamaha, Kawi and Suzuki). You have riders that will excel no matter what brand because the testing they put in will have the bike working the way they want it. All the things that go on in the "off the shelf" bikes are tested out. Any motor characteristics are tuned to the riders preference, same with the suspension, all the other ergonomics are made to fit the rider. The only area that something like the EFI benifits anyone currently is the mechanic, he now doesn't have to worry about jetting. You can move riders around to different brands, but the results always stay the same, if a rider was winning on one brand then you bet he will win on another.

Until it is official in the form of a press release or spy photo, Stewart is still a wild card as for what he is riding next year.

your wrong on that factory level is all bike you dont have a factory bike then your not doing crap, and james is going to san manual and has been on the yami for the 2 week break the had.(At the factory level the bike is the LEAST important )this is what you said but the went on to say this (Any motor characteristics are tuned to the riders preference, same with the suspension, all the other ergonomics are made to fit the rider. The only area that something like the EFI benifits anyone currently is the mechanic,)this even tell's you that a factory bike is the most important factor of the bike just look at M.C when he went to Suz,then KTM now he back on a honda, look at shawn hamblin he's been on a non factory bike and doing good but thats cuz a lot of factory riders are out.I know more deep factory secrets but cant spill just that james is going to be on blue.

one last thing also is factory suspension cost from $30,000 to $50,000 and non factory Rg3,Race tech etc cost $5000 and aint no where as close to the works suspension on factory bikes the works suspension is test at the track with a wire plug connected to it and a box that conected like the ignition box but its a tunner box, and the rider does 10 to 20 hard laps then pulls of if you even been to the factory test tracks and would see the rider their going one at at time thats why then they do a rally and all will go out then thats when they pack up and leave.knowing all the factory riders and teams personally is cool, and every factory bike gets tore completly down after the race and everything is changed unless the rider wants the suspension to stay the same but that even tore down also, then they get their factory bike back 2 days b4 a race and test it,and turn their test bike back in to get worked on but just look in the back of some factory rigs and look on the second deck that the practice bike up their thats all the same as their race bike.the motors are never the same.
