I finished the bike on Fri. and raced on Sat. I was just praying that I had everything right because I didn't have time to test the bike other than a couple of passes through a parking lot. Well the result was pretty good. The bike has a couple of jetting issues, the pegs are to far forward for me and I need to upgrade the suspension. It is fast, took me several laps trying to get use to the massive HP in this little frame almost lost it a couple of times. There were about 8 or 10 guys in the supermini class and I managed to finish 3rd overall in the final. In the heat race I started near the back but buy the first turn was in 4th. Yea it's great to have the HP to get a good holeshot.
Still can't believe I got this thing done in about 3 weeks and it worked, I have done other project bikes like this and they all took me several months. Now I can take my time sorting out all the little things.
I am going to get the bike painted and graphic are going on it in the next couple of weeks so I will post some new pics soon.

I'll be there with the NSF, Hopefully with it's new graphic. I have not had much time to work on it , however I did change a couple of things to make it work a little better. I was hoping to have the suspension done, but I'll have to wait for the next race for that. I have been working on a new mid-bike that I may bring if I finish it in time.
See Ya at the races!

Re: NSF CRF150R conversion

I did some more work on the NSF. I sorted out the jetting the bike runs incredibly well now, it is a rocket. I also made rear set brackets that moved the pegs back a couple of inches and up a half inch. I put a thicker seat pad on to give me more room on the bike. Paint and graphics were done to complete the look of the bike. Still may do some more with the graphics, but haven't decided yet. Next is to get the suspension done to handle the HP and my weight.
