| Re: New NSR bodywork from EBAY! Yeah I don't have my lower attached to the bracket on the right side... I ran it all season with no attachment to the lower, other then the upper holding it there. I just put the screw in on the bottom left, only reason I did that is when I crash I didn't want the lower to rip off. This is what it looks like now, after moving the mounts around a bit to get it to work right... ![]() ![]() |

Put the twin stinger end up against the NSR exhaust, and carefully select a cutting point (for both pipes), then have the twin stinger end welded to the existing NSR chamber (while mounted on the bike). Being that I am not a 2-stroke specialist, I have no idea how much it will affect performance of merging the two, if any. May not even be noticable. Altho' I do suggest doing a plug chop before and after. If plug shows richer or leaner, you'll need to adjust (needle or Main jet) accordingly. If no change in color, then, no worries

| Re: New NSR bodywork from EBAY! I'm only interested in doing it if there are some kind of gains in HP to be made. Otherwise I wouldn't bother. |

| Re: New NSR bodywork from EBAY! Here are some updates on the bodywork installed on the bike. I have to say that this kit is pretty sick looking. I think it looks better than the NSF. Just my opinion! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

| Re: New NSR bodywork from EBAY! Randy says we need to throw the 4spd drum and stroker crank in the 110 to make 121cc and come school you at CMRRA It's gonna look sweet painted! When is your next race? The boys outgrew all their gear, leathers, helmets, boots, gloves since Buttonwillow. I gotta spend like 6 hunny to get them back on the track, and that's in MX gear. | Re: New NSR bodywork from EBAY! it does look great! but I do like my nsf bodywork better. They both are great I think its a matter of taste..... I'm so close to getting it on the road... just that darn rear seat frame. I am seriously thinking of taking a hacksaw to it.... |

| Re: New NSR bodywork from EBAY! I have his contact, im buying a front fender from him. I spoke with him the other day befor he put them on ebay. I new about the body before it came out, i just didnt know what it looked like. I went with my orignal plan with AIR-TECH NSF body but my wait time is 2-4 weeks! oh well it will be worth it. Again your bike LOOKS AWSOME! You should paint it like your gas tank/front fender! But what ever you do im sure it will look good. Keep it up! ~Shawn |

| Re: New NSR bodywork from EBAY! Looks Great! looking forward to seeing the completed w/ paint scheme. Any pix from behind? I wonder what kind of tail light would look best with that tail section......if I were to use this body work for my "street" NSR. Last edited by Manimal; 03-25-2008 at 06:50 AM. |

| Re: New NSR bodywork from EBAY! Jason.. all I gotta say is: "Just don't paint it the same color as your 80?" In fact, go ahead and throw the British flag paint scheme on there for me. |

Our next race is next weekend out at Willow, I don't know if I am going to make it or not since we had the baby two weeks ago.

| Re: New NSR bodywork from EBAY! That bodywork looks awesome now!!!! I like it way more than the NSF work too. I'd saw off the part on the tail that doesn't mesh with the subframe, then clean it up and shape it with a Dremel. I could see my boot catching that corner that sticks out on it and cracking it off. How hard was it to get on? ---L*64 |

Thanks! Actually the bodywork went or really easy. The only modifications that I had to do were: 1. Cut off the kickstand mount off of the frame to clear the lower section. 2. I to trim the lower section to clear my shifter and rear brake pedal. Other than that it fits the bike well as you can see from the pics. The only thing I am not happy is how the subframe sticks out the bottom of the tail section. I will probably end up running the AirTech tail section that was given to me if I cannot get this one to fit better.
