Re: My YSR 200 4 Stroke build! Well im about 99% sure its a 5 speed (ya ya i know i should know) but the motor is at my work getting some work done.... any ways there are 3 xr200 motors that i know of. 84+ish (XR200/XR200R) 2 valve, no bat. 85&86 XR200r was a freak (crap motor. STAY AWAY) 4 valve dual carb/exhaust, no bat. XL200 was the on/off road with a bat, electric start, 2 valve, and lights. there were years that the xr200 did and didnt come with lights. Some of the newer XR200 came with electric also. PS not to confuse any one but my motor is a 2 valve 86, they made the 4 valve in the same year also (was the race bike). The 4 valve is a crappy motor. carbs are extreamly hard to sink and parts are hard to come by. Oh and the power is the same. ~Shawn Last edited by shawnbassett26; 04-08-2008 at 09:43 PM.

Anyway... Let me know how much more braking power you end up with when you finish the front brakes. You are using the ZX10 master with the YSR caliper and the NSR disk right? I want to install a better master too, but I wanna wait to see if it will make a worthwhile difference. | |

Re: My YSR 200 4 Stroke build! yes im use'n the brake setup that you listed. A 230 swap would be awsome. I just went with the 200 because i work with a guy who gave me a whole XR200 for $250 Was kinda worried about the zx10 master being too much, but blead chriswilders brake (kinda the same set up) and there pretty nice. ~Shawn

Re: My YSR 200 4 Stroke build! DUDE!!!! That is one sweet build! I hope you are ging to give us a few youtube videos or one really well done video. It would be a shame if you spent all this time building a sweet bike and you film it with a cell phone... Thanks in advance!!!

Re: My YSR 200 4 Stroke build! I noticed the white wash out from the small lens commonly found on cell phones. And now for my rant... The size of lens on those cameras make it impossible for a decent picture to be taken over 1.3 megapixels. the ones that advertise 2.0 Mp will suffer from more motion blur and wash out while still taking up more space on your phone, AND it will look crappier. So you pay MORE MONEY for a WORSE picture... Some of the better phones are getting bigger lenses though and are ok...ish...er ....BTW Did you go that fast without a seat???
