Re: My YSR 200 4 Stroke build!

The best of ALL worlds, look closely in the frame/swingarm only pic, but theres a ZB50 (chriswilder) NSR frame(for sale by the way), CRF50, and of corse the ysr.... thing..

Re: My YSR 200 4 Stroke build!

Update!
Well got my front end together today. I used tapered head bearings (I highly recomend!) Was pretty easy with the nsr wheel. Im going to have to make my own spacers, just slipped th axle in. Im waithing on my front rotor and bolts to come in. Waiting on the rear brake set up also.

Re: My YSR 200 4 Stroke build!

Just curious but, why did you go with a matte frame with/swing arm when you are running gloss wheels, gloss tank and gloss bodywork (guessing you'd make it match the tank)?

Re: My YSR 200 4 Stroke build!

I wanted to brake it it up a little. Thought it would be TOO glossy. Wanted a it to look OEM (like on my big bikes). All Newer Bikes are like that.
E.G.
My 07 R6

My 05 R6

My TLR. The frame was Silver/ but i wanted it to look newer so it wnt black as well.

Re: My YSR 200 4 Stroke build!

Nice rebuttal. I just sold my 07 R6. Wicked power band, I just didn't do enough track days to justify the missing bottom end/midrange. I'll post a pic of my bosses 03 R1 later today, he had it done gloss black so it flows really nice with a 'Rossi' deep blue paint scheme.

Re: My YSR 200 4 Stroke build!

Yeah, nice spot. I think the gloss frame makes a nice line from front wheel to frame to swing arm to rear wheel. Are you putting your VIN frame stickers back on?
