Re: My YSR 200 4 Stroke build!

Cool bike! I like the thumper swap. Blasters are too common

I wanna do one with an RD125 twin, just to hear a pair of chambers singing.

Awsome build, cant wait to see the finished product! I dont know if you have KREEMed the tank yet, but that stuff is absolute garbage, I think POR-15 has a much better product. Just my opinion.

Re: My YSR 200 4 Stroke build!

heres the site where i found out about and the (how too) on eletrosis. http://www.650rider.com/Content/pid=6.html

I was considering a few diffrent swaps. Blaster, yz85/80, 250f ect...
Was looking for 1. 12volt 2. Desent power 3. something diffrent (not claiming to be the first) 4. a motor with an aftermarket. Iv got $150 into the motor/swap/rebuild. So far i think im doing well. Went from 5hp(if i was lucky) to 20(ish).

Im working on NSR 3 spokes/swingarm/brakes. Just need my buddy to get his NSF 6 spokes for is zb50.
Stay tuned!

Re: My YSR 200 4 Stroke build!

Well, its a VERY long story. Heres the short, He called Honda USA and apparently they were only going to import 2 sets of NSF wheels. The front was back ordered till march and the rear is back ordered till may. When he called honda said that one set was spoken for and the other set were available. So he scooped them up! Work out great for me and him. He didnt really want the 3 spokers.

Re: My YSR 200 4 Stroke build!

Im still going to use the YSR forks, i tried to use NSR forks tripple. It just wasnt going to work. So im going to get a NSR front brake/bracket and make and adapter. Im going to order a NSF100 rotor on tuesday as well. I had to drill out the legs because the NSR has a lorger axle. Worked out really well.
