Re: My YSR 200 4 Stroke build!

Small up date...

Just got all the bodywork out of the way, primed, and wet sanded today (haven't had the time lately). Ill drop the body and tank off tomorrow to get it sprayed (at least thats the plan).

Just got a Brembo* master cylinder with folding lever! Haven't put it on yet but its made for a single caliper.

Fork brace on the way (much needed)

New rear sprocket made (went to 39T form 41) much better when cruising and will get me over 100+ MPH now.

New clutch.

Mainly nic nac parts.... Still trying to find a nice used aftermarket NSR shock, saving my money for a +2 G-Craft swing arm. Ill be working on and inverted front end soon and some nice brakes. Other than that just riding it every day! Turns heads every where i go. Me and chris took our minis to bike night (which is HUGE in JAX). I was beating people off with a stick. The only bad parts is the first thing people ask is "where did you buy that pocket bike" But i do get a lot of respect from people who know who much work i have into it. More pics soon, stay tuned.

That tells you who the atypical new rider is vs. someone who knows whats going on. I'm sure by the end of the night you have some very jealous onlookers/fans.

What's the paint scheme you are planning on spraying on the bike?

"will it be an nsr swinger? how does it match up to the ysr frame?"

Yes. I had to drill out the swingarm bolt holes on the ysr frame (nsr swingarm axle is wider). I had to make a new mount on the frame to accept the NSR shock. Other than that its just as wide.

Yeah we had alot of people asked how much we would see them for... they didnt like the price.

Pics soon.......

Re: My YSR 200 4 Stroke build!

A few new parts today. They are Carbon fiber frame gussets. Makes that area look alot better. Not 100% on the red carbon, turned out darker than i expected.... They may just go gloss black. Body will be on soon!

Re: My YSR 200 4 Stroke build!

YOu surprise me with that carb. You've got such an awesome bike and you did some work to the mill. Why are you running such a crap carb? Its like 175 pounds of dynomite with a quarter inch fuse.

Get a Mikuni downdraft or flatslide on there...TM32 or FCR32. It will make a world of difference.
