| Anyone here own an MB5?
I recently picked up a 900 mile original bike that had sat for many years, Red, runs very decent but has some issues like any other 25 year old bike would....
I am interested to know what parts may be interchangeable with other models, like the headlight trim ring on mine is cruddy etc.
The engine bore/stroke seems identical to the old MR50's. I know that pistons are impossible to find for those bikes. Since the MB is a reed engine rather than piston port, are pistons available? Maybe easier to find from Euro MB50's?
The small pinhole leaks in the gas tank have been a nightmare to fix.....the chances of finding a red tank will be nearly impossible.... |
