| The cam that comes with the TB kit is pretty tame, but it's tough to beat the price of the kit. I think I've seen the kit without the cam for $150. Add a Web 69/68 and some springs, and clean up the port short side.
I saw several broken BBR sleeves so I sleeved the stock jug and used a Wiseco forged piston. The cases need to be opened up a bit with a dremel but the added durability is worth it. I lightened the crank a bunch while it was apart, since the stocker weighs a lot more than the 80. Lightening the flywheel helps it rev quicker too. Open up the airbox, add a 115 main jet and she'll move pretty well. I used an 80 trans for the closer ratio gears. |
