2002 KLX was ONLY green frame and whole black engine (top end). Later models were dark silver frame with silver top end.

Transmission is not the same as well. 1st gear is longer on 2002 than on 2003 and later years.

Takegawa close ratio and primary gear drive does not fit 2002 KLXs because of the transmission and crank specs...

Final drive transmission was 14/37 while 2003 & later models were 14/33.

2002 Stock head is different from later models, screws on the cam chain side are outside of the head while next year heads (silver) feature inside screws...

KX65 front end needs to replace the lower triple clamp stem by a KLX one, it means you'll need to cut the klx clamp and weld the axle on the kx65 clamp... professional work recomended.

All year KX60 kick starters fit KLX 110 if you ride stock or Bigminis brake pedal...

Both KX60 and KLX 110 front wheels are same. KX 60 rear wheel fits KLX 110.
