LMFAO. Yeah sorry staggered was with the left foot rear peg and right foot front peg. I didn't have a handbrake at the time, so I always kept my foot on the rear brake.

I think everyone is taking his posts too seriously. Im not going to speak for shawn but i think he's in the same boat as me about a lot of these questions about wheelies. There has to be a million of these threads about how to do a wheelie, protection people wear, what gear they should do stuff in, etc. it gets old and boring. so why not throw in a few sarcastic posts for a laugh or to see how people react?

In regards to the topic on hand: I suggest getting your basic sit-down and stand-up wheelies down first. I learned in 2nd gear since side to side balance is easier than 1st gear. Get used to riding balance point and how to steer the bike around in both positions and then move on to the harder stuff. The basics are going to take the largest amount of seat time. Everyone learns at their own pace so theres really no way to give you a good estimate of how long it should take. Personally i only wear gloves while riding. When i first started (wrecked a lot) i also wore shin and knee protection since its usually the first thing to hit the ground when you wreck.
God damn you wrote a book!

You could have it the other way around too and still technically call it staggered

To place on or as if on alternating sides of a center line;.

its not that long. i was just responding to a couple things in a single post instead of making a new post for each topic

Even if it was stickied the newbs would still post 50 threads a week about how to wheelie it's a lost cause.

Re: Q&A about stunting

This whole entire section is for stunt related questions, videos, or comments. IDC if people post the same questions over and over, hell this section gets a new thread like once a week. I like to check out everyones comments. When I was trying to learn how to wheelie I probably read 5 threads entitled "How to wheelie" and I learned something from every single thread...

THey helped me to learn how to wheelie. Right now I"m practicing stoppies and stand up wheelies, as well as circles. I'm not good by any means, but I'm getting better partially due to all these threads. As for your questions, start learning how to wheelie. Any kind of wheelie first, sit down, stand up, staggered. Get a feel for wheelies, then get creative. Make up your own stuff. Then take vids of it and post it up on PM!
