Re: Finally learned BP

man u guys are nuts. you won't ever scrape 12 bar by accident. it is something that takes serious work to do. just work on your wheelies more and you can get anything. no hander takes serious skill. i can do them but cant hold them like ryan moore. key is being able to rock a one hander with just the right hand on the bars, then just keep working on using less and less throttle. eventually you will feel somewhat comfortable letting go. be careful tho and wear gear.

1 handers are a lot of fun, i love to wave at people i pass. gets some good looks, shawn has some skills for sure, ive was watching his videos on youtube way before i ever saw him on here or any other forum. actually i was watching him ride before i started stunting. i think part of his posts on this thread were pure sarcasm.

I agree fully, sitting far back balance point is WAY low

When you do a coaster , you are well beyond bp . and use the brake to stop you from looping . You are not holding the bike at bp when you do a coaster .

None of the pics towlieee posted are of coasting .
+1

No coasting in any of my pics, just balance in the 1st and 3rd pic, and WAY past balance point in the second where I'm scraping

Balance point WITH throttle, and balance point while coasting is a big difference

50's have a pretty low balance point, even sitting far forward, whereas sport bikes at slow speeds, have a really high balance point

Btw my post about 50's being easy to stunt, they still take tons of practice, and are dope to stunt
But compared to sport bikes, they are a good deal easier.. But 50's help TONs with sports bikes.. I wouldn't be doing anything on my f4i today if I didn't learn on my 50!

Whats weird about no handers, is I could never do them on my 50 or 150, but I can do them like nothing on my sport bike lol
But I think thats mainly due to the fact my 50 and 150 have JUNK brakes compared to the disk brakes on my f4i
As long as I'm on a smooth parking lot, I can go for blocks doing no handers on my f4i, but can't go more then 10 feet on my 50 hahaha

ya I realized that after I made my post LOL
I've been out of the 50 game a while.. Rode my 50 like twice during the winter.. Just recently got back into stunting it

Re: Finally learned BP

I've never tried to wheelie a sports bike, but i know i cant do it. I've done a few wheelies on them a little bit in a straight line for short distances....I've never been too good at stuff like that on big bikes...I can ride fast thats about it.

But give me a little time on the 50 and i can do just about anything, still having problems with circles and can't pull straight up into high chair.

I'm not hating, just giving you props on your first step in stunting, just gotta get comfortable with balance point being higher later on.
