| Re: Finally learned BP I think wheelies should be done sittin on the seat, not the 12 bar. Lets see some pics of you guys scrapping the 12 bar while sitting on it. |

You stunt all 3? Lets see a video, or pictures of you on a sport bike... Because by your post, I'm guessing you don't actually stunt, just do straight line wheelies chasing rev limit? 50's are childs play, they are simple, cake to stunt. A sport bike is no where near the same.. And I'm not talking about power wheelies, I'm talking about STUNTING. 50's compared to sport bikes are SOOO simple.. They are nothing.. How can you even begin to say a 50 is harder then a sport bike?? I can do 1000x the tricks on my 50 as a sport bike, and I stunt my sport bike everyday.. Can you do a circle on a sport bike? what about high chair circles? no handers? Coasters? I can do a few variations of circles on my sport bike, but on my 50 I got combo circles, HC circles, and whatever circle I want on lock. If you put the same ammount of practice into a 50, and a sport bike, you'll get better WAY faster on the 50 Quote:
I like sitting as far forward as possible, so balance point is up high only sit down pic I got lol ![]() Btw the 12 bar on a 50 is a MILE past balance point, its not like a sport bike where 12 bar and balance point is only about 1 foot difference.. Also takes good brake maintennce to bring it off the bar ![]() And just because I like whoring out photos ![]() Also on 50's, most peoples 12 bars are sooo long they aren't even 12, they are just 11 bars lol.. Thats what mine is anyways, but with ****ty drum brakes, it makes scrapes way more consistent having the bar really long.. Last edited by Towlieee; 07-04-2008 at 02:55 PM.

| Re: Finally learned BP I pretty sure most of you guys know that shawn can ride wheelies for days and can do many tricks and combos . The fact that this thread is called finally learned bp is kinda off . If you can wheelie for days without using the brake , thats bp . You are not doing a powerwheelie . If you were , you would never back off on the throttle . On a fiddy you have to be on and off the throttle . You are reaching bp , then letting off because if you don't you will flip . When it comes back down below bp , you have to get back on the throttle to get back to bp . I think what shawn is saying is he is shifting his weight back far enough so that staying at bp takes less throttle input . But you already know where bp is . You are just practicing with your weight further back so less throttle is needed to keep the front end up , and mastering it . Last edited by Crazy D; 07-04-2008 at 07:28 PM. |

| Re: Finally learned BP ^ i disagree, look at professional stunters. when there coasting at bp there vertical just like towliee's pics of him coasting at bp. shawn would be able to take his hands off the bars because he isnt at BP hes just balanced. BP is when you can take your hands, feet , whatever off and stay right there |

bp means balance point . being balanced . If you bump your idle up , you can ride a wheelie at bp with no hands , but you have to use the brake on and off so you don't loop the bike . That is not coasting . That is maintaining the bike at bp . riding a wheelie at balance point . When you do a coaster , you are well beyond bp . and use the brake to stop you from looping . You are not holding the bike at bp when you do a coaster . None of the pics towlieee posted are of coasting . Last edited by Crazy D; 07-04-2008 at 08:20 PM.

| Re: Finally learned BP I dunno. Balance point is balance point. He learned it and it's lower, because his weight is farther back. Balance point is when you can ride a wheelie without gaining forward speed. |
