The CRF 80/100 forks are 27mm. The same as the crf/xr70s. You prolly need a BBR top clamp so you can slide the forks in so there not so high in the front.

I finally posted some pictures of my 70 with the 80/100 forks. They are in my users album in the gallery. http://www.planetminis.com/gallery/f...4/P1010004.JPG http://www.planetminis.com/gallery/f...4/P1010003.JPG http://www.planetminis.com/gallery/f...4/P1010002.JPG

that is awesome, Can't wait to get mine! gona order them today. So how much travel do you think the 80/100 forks have? and I guess the BBR HD springs for the 100 forks work in the 80 forks? from what I have fiqured out they are exactly the same.

I think the 80 forks have 5.5 inches of travel and the 100 forks have 5.2 inches of travel which doesn't make sense becuase I thought they were the same. Well that's what i saw on the Honda site. Does anyone know what year(s) RM/CR/KX 80 forks are 27mm?

Before you try BBR heavy duty 100 springs, try this. Fill the fork with 20w oil and set the level to 100mm below the top of the tube with the fork fully collapsed and the spring removed. The 70 is lighter than the 100. I think the springs are fine and I am 190 lbs. Sure it may not work great on a supercross track but lets be realistic. This is a cheap fix and always upgradable to new springs.

they should if you use your stock bottom clamp and the top clamp off the 100 forks. atleast they did on my bike. But my forks and clamps also came off like a 94 xr100. But the best thing to do is buy the bbr top clamp | |

If I had to guess on the diff between the 80 and 100 on travel... It could be because the 100 has larger wheels that take up some of the "travel" that the forks have. Just guessing on that one, but it makes sense. Mike

you can also have the forks revalved, send them of to someone who does suspension, get them resprung and have them set up for your weight and stuff. RJP does good stuff and is fairly priced.

We put XR80 forks on my son's CRF70. They raised it quite a bit in the front. I had to get a BBR top clamp to lower them a bit to level the bike out. You will also need a XR80 or XR100 front brake cable. We went with a shock extender (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Honda...QQcmdZViewItem) with a stiffer spring and it worked great. He's 9 and loves it. There is a guy here Foxxxxr70 selling XR80 forks in the classified section. ![]() ![]() Last edited by Calif-klx110; 12-19-2006 at 08:56 AM.

ya. You have to have a different stem machined. STAGGS is coming out with some forks for 110s and they are suppose to be CHEAP. buy those and wrap them in Zochi clamps for the 70 and ull be good to go for probably under 800
