Re: FOTM for November 2007

And it looks like another ZB50 is going to win the Mini of the Month. I don't even think we need to hold the vote folks..

Re: FOTM for November 2007

I'll try it out...

First pic is with the 88cc engine in it, 2nd two are with the 140cc engine. Swap the engines depending on the race.

88cc engine is a TBparts racehead 88, with lightened flywheel, lightened crank, ported w/ a 22mm carb and TBparts manual clutch w/ 4 speed honda transmision.
TB Parts oil cooler
ReegMX Frame w/ +5 GP swingarm now (was +3 in the first pic)
Elka Rear Shock
Stratos Forks w/ Magura hydraulic disc front brake
FMF Powercore 4 exhaust
ProTaper 50 bend bars
ASV Clutch lever

Sorry...
I think we should keep it limited to the wheel size. As long as it has no bigger than a 10" rear and a 12" front you have to race it as a 50 so I will allow it as a 50 in the FOTM.

Also as long as it was originally manufactured with a 50cc motor it should be allowed. (hmmm...where does that put a ct70 then? Does it have 10" wheels? I have never owned one)

Alright, my Polini has a 43" wheelbase, came stock with a 107cc knock-off of a CRF50 engine. I put a HONDA CRF50 engine in it, and made it a 138cc. It ran 10" / 12" combo stock, and it still does. It is legal to race Vegas as a 50, it runs a 50 engine.... I'd consider it a 50?

CT70's came with 10's from the factory, but a 70cc motor. Should be in FOTM rather then midsize.

ZB50's came with 50cc's from the factory so they should be in FOTM as well.

JJW - Sorry about the miscommunication. The director has stepped in and clarified the situation. Good luck with the contest.

No probs at all. Just thought I'd verify it's size and everything.

Thanks!
