| ooooh, new bars I'm putting some pro taper bars on my 70, replacing my stock bars and I have a question about the throttle. In the stock bars, there's a small hole in em that corresponds with a little nob/stub on the mount for the twist grip throttle. On the new bars, there isn't this little hole. should I drill into my new bars, or just cut off the little nub? If I cut off the little nub, won't the throttle's mount be able to move around a bit? Will this be a problem? Would I be able to fix it with handle bar tape, or whatever that stuff is?
oh, one other thing, where can I find an extended throttle cable (what site)? since the bars are taller, it pulls on the throttle when I turn to the right (thus, involuntarily revving the engine). it's pretty funny.... |
